Members volunteer time in our philanthropic projects; the Frances J. Johnson Dental Center, Operation School Bell®, Operation Hug, and work in our fundraising projects; postal contract station, gift and consignment shop, plus
other committees and positions of leadership in our organization.
Any interested person may join the voting chapter or one of our auxiliaries. The chapter requires a minimum of two days per month in one or a combination of our projects except for the post office which is a minimum of 2½ days. The auxiliaries have less time requirements.
The membership is composed of Chapter voting and Chapter non voting which are sustaining (after 8 years voting membership), Associate and PALS (partners of Assistance League members).
Chapter Relations plans social events throughout the year some of which include spouses or friends.
