Colleagues is a fundraising auxiliary of Assistance League, certified in 1952. The purpose of this auxiliary is fundraising for the chapter's philanthropic projects and to give volunteer service in these projects. The fundraising project is called "Trinkets and Treasures."
Currently there are approximately 20 Voting members and 25 Associate members. There is no sustaining category.
Members are required to come to monthly meetings either in someone's home or in a restaurant. Members take turns hosting these lunches.
There are two Trinkets and Treasures sales a year. The main sale is held in the second week in March and includes a preview night and then a two day sale. Another smaller parking lot sale is held in the summer for one day. Items are donated during the year from members and the public. They are sorted and priced. The items are stored in the basement of the chapter and in rented garages nearby. Trinkets and Treasures rummage sales are the only fundraising. Members are required to work in the rummage storage room during the year. They are assigned a month in which to work. They are also required to work in the two sales.
There are three parties during the year:
